Google –The Android Developer Lab
Brand Fuel were off to
Our brief was to turn the space into an Android focused Auditorium and Foyer. This included Android branding, demo stations and a smoothie bar. We also took care of the security measures, which involved tokens, a ballot box and a UV pen. Well, as Google were giving away free Android phones to all the delegates, security measures had to be tight to ensure no one bagged two phones.
As you can imagine this made the sessions extremely popular, and we had to manage the flow in and out of the auditorium which saw over 1,800 people passing through it in one day. Not even the impressive efforts of one particularly over zealous delegate who climbed over a railing and slid down a wall to try and get into the already packed auditorium could get past our team.

The very first One Young World Summit was finally upon us. We were responsible for the production of the event and the logistics which encompassed getting the 600 25 yr old delegates from over 112 countries (even James from Haiti!) to London's Excel to share their ideas and opinions on issues facing the world today. Not only did this give them the opportunity to network with each other; but to get their voices heard by influential figures.
Speakers included Bob Geldof, Kofi Anan, Archbishop Desmond Tutu (who Brand Fuel reckon is 100% rock star!), Professor Yunus and Crown Prince Haakon of Norway to name but a few. The atmosphere at the event was electric and we can’t wait for next year’s one.
We have uploaded a few photos. We could have put hundreds up, there were so many great moments. Click on the link below to see some video footage highlights:
